in Walk

Walking in Laikipia is the best way to explore this lovely area with its stunning landscape and plentiful game. Accommodation is in simple but very comfortable mobile camps, with supplies and equipment carried by camels. The camp team will attend to you throughout the expedition. The camp sites are attractive and guests are well looked after with great food and cool sundowners.

Setting out after an early breakfast you'll walk for a few hours through mixed landscapes with opportunities to view a variety of game. Lunch is a sumptuous affair after which you can relax and soak up the atmosphere of the African bush before heading out in late afternoon for the next camp. This is undoubtedly the best way to get close to nature in the wilds of Africa. You will also learn much about the local culture and way of life as you talk to your guides during the day.
